Guest Service Specialist Mikato steak house 1092 South Ponce De Leon Boulevard, Saint Augustine, FL 32084 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services and a strong understanding of food safety and handling. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and maintaining high Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system, ensuring all guest requests are met. Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and temperature. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Process payments accurately using cash registers, handling cash and credit transactions with care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and adherence to food safety standards. Uphold high standards of guest relations, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for processing payments. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest services and relations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A culinary background or experience in kitchen operations is a plus but not mandatory. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
