Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor as they arrive at the restaurant. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system. Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding food preparation and ingredients. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to guests’ tables. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly. Process payments efficiently using cash registers or POS systems. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Adhere to all health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation. Experience Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash registers, basic math skills, and handling payments is essential. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and menu items is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
