Fast casual server Urban Brick 112 North Woodland Boulevard, DeLand, FL 32720 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced café environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service, ensuring that every guest has a memorable dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Take customer orders accurately using the POS system. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met. Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Skills Proficient in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in transactions. Basic math skills for calculating bills and handling cash accurately. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Experience in food preparation is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
