Ice Cream Server/Cashier Izzys Island Tacos and Ice Cream 3600 South Atlantic Avenue, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling transactions. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that customers have a pleasant dining experience and that their orders are processed accurately. Duties Greet customers warmly and take their orders with a friendly demeanor. Process transactions using a cash register or POS system, ensuring accuracy in cash handling. Maintain knowledge of the menu to assist customers with their selections and answer any questions. Ensure compliance with food safety standards while handling food items. Prepare and serve food and beverages as needed, adhering to quality standards. Keep the dining area clean and organized, including tables, chairs, and condiment stations. Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels in the kitchen and service areas. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of orders. Experience Previous experience in customer service is preferred, particularly in a grocery store or quick-service fast food restaurant setting. Familiarity with cash registers and basic math skills for accurate cash handling. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
