Server 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars 1310 Joe Frank Harris Parkway, Cartersville, GA 30121 Job Details Description Cartersville Country Club is in need of qualified candidates for serving positions in a hospitality driven environment.
Required Duties:
Provide immediate attention to all Members and their guests. Learn and describe daily specials to Members and their guests. Learn and describe menu items to Members and their guests. Be able to answer questions about the menu(s) and offer suggestions when they are requested. Takes food and beverage orders from guests. Closely monitor the kitchen so food is delivered to guests quickly upon completion. Check on Members and guests in appropriate increments, ensuring food and beverage is as expected. Replenishes items as needed. Attend pre-shift meetings and taste tests, as required. Ensures the wait hall is organized. Looks for duties to complete during down time. Ensure accuracy for member charge, check, and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System. Learns and follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders. Learns and follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques. Practices tray service for all food and beverage service. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as required.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages. Knowledge of POS system a plus, but training will be available.
Compensation:
Starting at $9 – $11 per hour plus tips. Pay will be determined based on experience.
