As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that each dining experience is memorable. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant’s order management system, such as OpenTable. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food handling standards. Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations by regularly bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces. Handle cash transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns or special requests. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed. Stay informed about menu items, specials, and promotions to effectively communicate with guests and enhance sales opportunities. Experience Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred but not required. Familiarity with guest services principles and practices is essential for success in this role. Knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards is highly desirable. Experience with cash handling processes is beneficial.
