The Head Server will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences while managing the front-of-house operations. This position requires a strong background in hospitality and customer service, with a focus on upselling and guest relations. Ideal candidate will have bartending knowledge as well & able to cover occasional bartending shifts. Duties Lead and supervise the serving staff to deliver outstanding service to guests. Ensure that all guests receive prompt, attentive, and courteous service throughout their dining experience. Train and mentor new servers on restaurant policies, menu items, and service techniques. Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery. Utilize Toast POS system for order processing and payment transactions efficiently. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and a positive attitude. Promote menu items through effective upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required. Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and practices. Proven ability in guest services, with excellent communication skills. Familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus. Demonstrated skills in sales and upselling techniques to enhance the dining experience. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining high standards of service.
