Position Overview:
ProVest is seeking self-motivated, detail-oriented, and personable private process servers or private process serving agencies to serve as independent contractors for our legal document service needs. As a Private Process Server, you will be responsible for delivering legal documents to designated parties, ensuring that all cases are served in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve legal documents for civil process within the county of interest Attempt service on all cases at a minimum of once every 72 hours.
This includes:
Activating all cases within 24 hours of receiving them (via FedEx or office pickup) through ProVest software Willingness to make up to 5 attempts on each file, including weekends, morning, and evenings per our client established guidelines. Review, sign (include notarization), and return affidavits within 72 hours of serving or non-serving a file.
Compensation:
$25.00 to $35.00 per residential collection per defendant/address. Payment is made weekly based on completed cases (with returned affidavits).
Additional Requirements:
Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, insurance, and judge-signed appointments.
ProVest uses two systems:
PVLS (for collections and garnishments) with the PVLS Mobile App. PV (for foreclosures, small claims, and out-of-state cases) with the PSO Mobile App. Strong attention to detail, organization, and professionalism when interacting with clients and legal documents. Bonus opportunities Application Question(s): Must be technology savvy as ProVest has two mobile apps they will need to be utilized. Do you have a smartphone that allows you to download mobile apps? Can you attempt all cases assigned to you, at minimum, every 72 hours (to include a weekend)? We are required to make up to 5 attempts at an address, to try to serve/non-serve each case. Can you meet due diligence of up to 5 attempts, using a different time parameter for each attempt?
