Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and courteous manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu
- Upsell additional items or specials to increase sales
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on them throughout their meal
- Assist with basic food preparation, such as assembling salads or appetizers
- Clear and reset tables for the next guests
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate to management when necessary.
Contributes to the cleaning and ordering of all areas of the restaurant according to the assignment given by the manager. Other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation guidelines
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
