As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, taking orders, and assisting with menu selections. Your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere and effectively communicate with guests will contribute to the overall success of our establishment. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, presenting menus and providing information about daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are communicated to the kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, checking back with guests to ensure satisfaction. Handle cash register transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate tabs for each table. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining a positive attitude. Assist in serving for catering events. Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Basic math skills for processing payments and managing tabs accurately. Experience with cash registers or point-of-sale systems is preferred. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience. Time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours. Culinary knowledge is a plus for assisting guests with menu selections. Team player mentality with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Being bilingual is not a requirement but is preferred.
