Waiter/Waitress Rodney’s soul food Smyrna, GA 30080 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences and will be responsible for delivering high-quality service to our patrons. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any issues as they arise. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Promote daily specials and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience. Skills Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Excellent guest service skills, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy at all times. Experience with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in a restaurant setting. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Ability to build positive guest relations through effective communication and problem-solving skills. Culinary knowledge is a plus, enhancing the ability to answer guest inquiries about menu items. Familiarity with Aloha POS and OpenTable systems is preferred but not required; training will be provided. A strong background in hospitality or the food industry is advantageous for success in this role.
