Atlanta, GA 30316 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately while maintaining the highest standards of service. This position requires excellent time management skills and a passion for the culinary arts, as you will be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including sanitizing surfaces as needed. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any special requests or dietary restrictions. Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, to assist with order management when necessary. Help in the kitchen during peak times by assisting with food preparation or other tasks as directed by kitchen staff. Qualifications Previous experience in the culinary or food service industry is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both guests and staff. A commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety within the restaurant.
