Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Server to join Agave Bandido! Agave Bandido was born in South Florida with over the top decor and built around an amazing experience! The first ever location in Georgia is located at High Street in Dunwoody and we want you to be part of our team! As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment. This role requires a strong focus on food and beverage knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Duties:

• Provide attentive and knowledgeable customer service, addressing customer needs and preferences
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to health and safety standards
• Assist with banquet and special events, ensuring a seamless experience for guests
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service
• Develop a deep understanding of our menu, including food and drink pairings
• Provide recommendations and make suggestions to enhance the customer experience
• Work effectively in a nightclub environment, managing crowds and maintaining a safe and secure atmosphere

Qualifications:

• Positive attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
• Minimum 1 year experience as a server or bartender in a high volume restaurant.
• Prior Lead Server/Trainer experience is preferred
• Proven track record of excellent customer service and hospitality skills
• Knowledge of food handling and preparation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks at once
• Experience with POS systems (Toast experience is a plus) and cash handling
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends
