Food Runner/Busser Mahjong Inc 950 West Peachtree Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30309 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately while maintaining the highest standards of service. This position requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to food safety, making it essential for delivering an exceptional dining experience. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Assist servers by communicating any special requests or modifications made by guests. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest inquiries effectively. Ensure that all food safety guidelines are followed during the delivery process. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Set up and break down banquet tables as needed, providing support during special events. Keep the dining area clean and organized, promptly clearing empty dishes and utensils from tables. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with others in a team-oriented atmosphere. Experience in banquet service or hotel environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
