Merion Room Server Assistant –
Part Time Summary:
As a Server Assistant/Food Runner in our prestigious Merion Dining Room, your primary role will be to deliver outstanding service to our guests. You will be responsible for supporting servers by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, and assisting with any additional tasks to enhance the guest experience. We expect you to be prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable, ensuring every guest enjoys a pleasurable and rewarding dining experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Work as directed to support the mission and values of Atlanta Athletic Club (AAC) Promote an attitude of teamwork by assisting other team members on the floor and with side work Fulfill both opening and closing side work on each shift Ensure that tables, chairs, and setups are done prior to guest being seated Continuously inspect the dining room for cleanliness and order throughout the shift and rectify issues promptly Provide excellent customer service and ensure that each request is fulfilled in a timely manner Maintain knowledge of all menu items and beverage offerings Assist servers with delivering plates to tables and promptly replenish beverages Clean and reset tables; practices consistent removal of used plates and/or glassware Inventory all condiments in the cooler and retrieve more from dry goods if needed Assist in other departments/club functions to help as needed
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays Able to stand for extended periods of time and carry heavy trays Able to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members
Qualifications:
Prior serving experience preferred in a fine dining restaurant, but willing to train the right candidate Must be able to work Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoon/evening until 11:00 pm A people person with a willingness to go above and beyond to deliver an exceptional member experience Legally authorized to work in the US Atlanta Athletic Club (AAC) is committed to providing a comprehensive benefit program for your physical and financial wellness, creating value in your most important investment – you!
