As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system or OpenTable. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation. Assist in sanitizing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant. Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest needs. Respond promptly to guest inquiries and provide assistance as needed. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Skills Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Experience with food service operations is preferred; familiarity with culinary practices is a plus. Ability to effectively upsell menu items while maintaining a positive guest experience. Knowledge of cash register operations and handling transactions accurately. Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is beneficial. Ability to work in a nightclub or high-energy environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
