D’Essence Cafe is seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated individual to join our team as a Waiter/Cashier . In this role, you’ll be the face of our cafe, greeting guests with a smile, taking orders with accuracy, and ensuring every customer enjoys a clean, welcoming environment and excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm, professional attitude Provide menus and explain daily specials or menu items when needed Take customer orders accurately and efficiently Prepare and serve beverages, including coffee and specialty drinks Serve food to tables in a timely and courteous manner Operate the cash register, process payments, and manage receipts Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and workstations Restock supplies and assist with basic café upkeep Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
Qualifications:
Friendly and customer-focused attitude Strong communication and multitasking skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation is a plus Prior experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player
