Server/Waiter La Plancha Restaurant 3600 Frederica Road, Saint Simons Island, GA 31522 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and have experience in fine dining or nightclub settings. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor. Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences. Accurately input orders into the POS system and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and address any special requests or dietary restrictions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately. Provide attentive service throughout the meal, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe dining environment. Requirements Previous experience as a Server in fine dining or nightclub environments is preferred. Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively. Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing. Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food service practices, including food handling regulations. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
