ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Dining Room Server at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will play an active role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and an exceptional dining experience throughout each meal and special event. Working collaboratively with our Dining Room Coordinator and other Dining Room Servers, you will provide hands-on table service and assist with special event meal service in our Assisted Living community. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. They excel in a fast-paced, physically active position, collaborate effectively, and embrace a growth mindset, prioritizing exceptional hospitality and helping seniors to thrive as they age.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience
Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy
Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready
Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community
Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 16 years of age
Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Must be able to efficiently multi-task, be an active listener, and collaborate effectively with team members
Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on, hospitality oriented position
Knowledge of dining etiquette and prior Restaurant Server experience is preferred
Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
