The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist servers in ensuring that all guest needs are met promptly. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including daily specials and food preparation methods. Ensure that all food safety and handling guidelines are followed during service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Clear and clean tables after guests have finished their meals. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards. Provide outstanding guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong understanding of food handling and safety practices. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. A passion for providing exceptional guest experiences. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items as needed.
