As a Server, you will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering outstanding guest services, taking orders, and managing the dining area efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the restaurant industry and possess strong communication skills to enhance the overall dining experience. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials. Take accurate food and drink orders using the OpenTable system or similar software. Upsell additional items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables. Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to all food safety regulations and standards to ensure a safe dining environment. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while providing attentive service. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs accurately. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create a positive dining atmosphere. Basic knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
