As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding customer service, ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued while enjoying their meal. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring all dietary restrictions and preferences are noted. Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist with the setup and breakdown of dining areas before and after service. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service areas. Process payments efficiently using the Aloha POS system. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience. Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures. Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to maintain sanitation standards in the restaurant setting. Experience in sales techniques to promote menu items effectively. Culinary knowledge to assist guests with menu selections and provide recommendations. Familiarity with food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations. Previous experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred but not required. Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
