Saint Claude Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70116 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure all orders are prepared correctly and meet quality standards. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address any guest needs. Help with setting up for banquets or special events as required. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, but not required. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in bussing tables or assisting in kitchen operations is advantageous.
