As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that customers receive prompt, friendly, and efficient service while maintaining high standards of food safety and hospitality. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately using OpenTable or other systems. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while adhering to food safety standards. Assist in food preparation when necessary, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of the meal. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is a plus. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on creating positive guest experiences. Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating bills.
