Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Provide detailed information about menu items, specials, and promotions to enhance the dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Process payments accurately using the POS system and handle cash transactions responsibly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment. Skills Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Familiarity with POS systems; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, particularly with kitchen staff. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a nightclub or restaurant setting.
