We are fun, inclusive and fast-paced music venue/restaurant and bar located in Downtown Lafayette. Our sister venue Hideaway Hall is an event space/cocktail bar located close to Downtown.

Server Job Description:

We are looking to hire a server with the possibility of cross training to bartend. The position will be at Hideaway on Lee.

• Serve tables
• Take customer orders and process payments through cash register
• Engage with customers, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive dining experience
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines while handling food and beverages
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery
• Stay updated on current drink trends and menu offerings
• Handle any customer concerns or complaints professionally and promptly
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely and friendly manner

Requirements:

• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or food service industry preferred
• Knowledge of proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
• Familiarity with operating a cash register or point-of-sale system
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with guests effectively
• Understanding of retail math for inventory management purposes
• Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages is a plus
