We are currently hiring Food Runners to help ensure timely and accurate delivery of food from the kitchen to the guest, providing a seamless and elevated dining experience. Job Summary The Food Runner acts as a critical link between the kitchen and front-of-house team. This role ensures that each dish is delivered promptly, correctly, and with care, while helping maintain cleanliness and organization in the service area. Ideal candidates are fast, detail-oriented, and have a passion for hospitality. Pay Competitive compensation based on experience and industry benchmarks. Part-time or full-time position available Schedule 4 to 8-hour shifts Weekends and holidays as needed Flexibility required Responsibilities Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately Confirm food is properly plated, garnished, and matches the ticket before delivering Communicate clearly with kitchen and serving staff to coordinate timing Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo stations and dining areas Assist servers with table maintenance as needed (clearing plates, refilling waters, etc.) Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist with side work, opening, and closing duties as assigned Requirements Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency Strong attention to detail and accuracy Must be able to stand for long periods and lift trays up to 30 lbs Must complete Louisiana state-required ATC training one week after first pay period Must complete basic Food Safety training as required Why Work at Bayo Social?
