As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests by providing attentive service and maintaining a high standard of hospitality.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables. Present menus and inform guests about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems proficiently. Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and promptly handle any issues or concerns. Provide knowledgeable answers to questions regarding menu items, allergens, and preparation methods. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service. Upsell additional products when appropriate, including appetizers, desserts, and beverages. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floors. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a server in a restaurant or hotel setting preferred. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks as needed. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in food handling and safety (e.g., ServSafe) is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software. Knowledge of wine, cocktails, and other beverages. Multilingual abilities are advantageous. The 2317 Burgundy Street complex (typically referred to as the St. Peter and Paul Church and School campus) is comprised of four separate historic structures, totaling approximately 50,000 square feet with an additional 28,000 square feet of landscaping, parking and open space. The Marigny neighborhood begins one block downriver from the French Quarter. (The site itself is six blocks from this border.) The neighborhood was designated a historic district in 1978, and is celebrated for its Creole and Classic Revival cottages as well as its traditional Shotgun houses. Its distinctive architecture, eclectic restaurants and European influences have continuously drawn artists to both live and work there, and its location just across Esplanade Street from the French Quarter has established it as a tourist destination for decades.
