Busperson Position Available In Hampden, Massachusetts

Busperson Tucker’s Restaurant 625 College Highway, Southwick, MA 01077 Tucker’s Restaurant is currently seeking Busperson. The ideal candidate will be personable, detail oriented and have a strong work ethic. Serve guests water upon arrival and provide refills as needed. Reset tables upon guest departure, help servers as needed. Busperson report to the Restuarant Manager.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Check restrooms as the beginning of the shift to be sure there are no towels on the floor etc. Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift. Promptly greet guests as they are seated and bring water to the table. Help server by removing used tableware between courses and provide necessary tableware for the next course. Clear tables after guests leave. Take dishes to kitchen, sort and load dishes in racks, glassware in glass racks and silverware in designated area. Clear tops of tables, spray with cleaner and wipe table. Wipe chairs as necessary. Check floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletop. Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to server as needed. Communicate with server and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service. Assist server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods. Thank guests as they are leaving and tell them we hope to see them again soon. Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

No previous restaurant experience required. Be neat and dressed in clean ironed clothing. Be able to communicate in a pleasant, polite, polished manner with our guests. Be able to lift, reach, bend and stoop. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours). Must be able to work weekends and holidays Chef Michael Anderson and his staff are ready to prepare a memorable and satisfying meal you’re sure to enjoy.
