Busser/Food Runner Position Available In Hampshire, Massachusetts

Busser/Food Runner Lichter & Levin Delicatessen 1 Market Street, Northampton, MA 01060 FOH – passionate, experienced professionals to bring enthusiastic energy and hospitality to our new deli. Must haves – 2+ years experience and weekend availability.

Responsibilities:

Ability to work on feet for 8-10 hours Open to learning and adapting in fast paced environment Reliable Transportation Willingness to help where needed for greater good of the team Ability to follow instruction and accept constructive criticism Proper work attire/non slip shoes Respect for others Kitchen safety (communication “behind” “hot” “sharp”, using and carrying and cleaning knives and sharps safely) Morning and afternoon shifts Responsible for communicating time needed off with notice. Calling out according to restaurant protocol Keep dish area clean and organized Frequent hand washing Ability to multitask and work calmly and efficiently in a fast paced environment Maintain cleanliness of various stations throughout service such as bathrooms, work surfaces, food storage, and dining room Run food and drink to customers in dining room Wipe down tables and customer self service area Sweep dining room and behind counter as needed Take out customer trash and recycling as needed Retrieve dirty dishes and deliver them to the dish pit Keep dish pit orderly and communicate with dishwasher Communicate effectively with other FOH staff Monitor inventory of any stock throughout the shift such as paper goods and food or drink supply and refill as necessary Assist other FOH staff when prompted, whether that be taking orders or making beverages Assist with closing tasks
