Restaurant Server Il Forno Restaurant & Catering Littleton, MA 01460 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that each customer feels welcomed and valued. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for food service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system. Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure food safety by adhering to all health regulations during food preparation and service. Assist with food preparation as needed in collaboration with the kitchen staff. Buss tables promptly to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests. Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and care. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards. Experience in culinary settings or grocery stores can be beneficial for understanding food preparation processes.
