Busser/Food Runner Lan Feast 250 Harvard Street, Brookline, MA 02446 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in the fast-paced food service industry. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization within the restaurant environment. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Ensure that all plates are clean and presentable before serving to guests. Assist servers by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to maintain a clean dining space. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure accurate order delivery. Help set up and break down catering events as needed, ensuring all food service standards are met. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including floors, tables, and service stations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously. Skills Experience in the food industry is preferred, with knowledge of food handling practices. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests. A customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on creating positive dining experiences. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with bussing techniques and catering operations is a plus.
