The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service, taking orders, and ensuring that all guests have a pleasant experience. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets fine dining standards. Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, ensuring satisfaction with food and service. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for payment processing. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to ensure positive guest relations. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is an asset. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is highly desirable. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and guest relations. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation practices is essential. Experience as a host/host or in guest services is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the restaurant’s schedule.
