Job Description
Server/Waiter Salsa Mexican Grill Yarmouth, ME 04096 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction. If you have a passion for food service and enjoy working in a lively atmosphere, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and drink orders using toast. Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring presentation standards are met. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register operations. Buss tables promptly to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely order delivery. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Assist with special events or promotions as needed, including using OpenTable for reservations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly. Skills Proficiency in cash handling and experience with cash registers or POS systems is essential. Strong math skills for processing payments accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
