As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and work efficiently will be key to your success in this role. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Aloha POS system or OpenTable. Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including food preparation and safety practices. Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently, ensuring accuracy in cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any guest concerns regarding their meals. Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring every guest feels valued and welcomed throughout their visit. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a nightclub or restaurant setting. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members alike.
