Responsibilities:

Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to answer client queries and provide recommendations Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties Actively engage in pre-shift and department meetings to get a thorough knowledge of all goods, services, and facility operations Collect correct payment from guests and ensure that the guest check and method of payment are accurate to safeguard both the client and the business from mistakes in transactions Greet customers, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve orders promptly, and accommodate any special needs or requests Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders, serve items promptly, and accommodate special requests. Develop a thorough understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to answer guest questions and provide recommendations. Process payments correctly, ensuring the accuracy of guest checks and transaction methods to prevent errors. Assist with food preparation and ensure all items meet quality and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations, including busing, resetting tables, and restocking supplies. Perform opening and closing side work, including restocking, cleaning, and setup tasks, as directed. Actively participate in pre-shift and department meetings to stay informed on products, services, and operational updates. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe dining environment. Collaborate with team members to support smooth and efficient service operations.

Qualifications:

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills We prefer some experience working in the food service industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members Previous experience in restaurants, cafés, or hospitality is preferred but not required. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Physical requirements:

Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. Flexible availability , including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Guest-first mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality. Must be at least 21 years of age for night shift positions.
