This role involves working directly with customers, ensuring proper portioning and presentation of menu items, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the service line. Key Responsibilities Greet and serve guests with a friendly, positive attitude Accurately portion and present food items according to restaurant standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food line and serving area Restock food and supplies as needed during service Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure availability of menu items Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards Respond to guest inquiries and accommodate special requests when possible Assist with breakdown and clean-up of the serving area after service Qualifications Prior experience in a cafeteria, buffet, or fast-paced food service environment preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work on your feet for extended periods Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices Reliable, punctual, and team-focused Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
