Job Description
The Role:
The Beverage Server are expected to deliver truly great service, and to create a warm and friendly atmosphere for our guests. Beverage servers should be knowledgeable and familiar with all beverage items, drink preparations, ingredients. Beverage servers must work well as a team, maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Provides superior levels of guest service to both internal and external guests. Takes beverage orders from guests and relays orders to bartender. Required to remember the guest, their location, and the drink order. Monitors the guests’ drink consumption to try to prevent guest(s) from becoming intoxicated. Notifies proper supervisory personnel if a guest does appear intoxicated. Keeps the Shift Manager informed of any problems and issues
Qualifications:
High School diploma or general education degree GED previous beverage experience in a high volume, sophisticated bar/casino preferred, but not required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
