As a key member of our café, you will interact directly with customers, handle transactions, and contribute to an exceptional dining experience. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit. Take orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards. Ensure all food handling practices comply with health regulations, including sanitation procedures. Maintain cleanliness of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and restrooms. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control. Skills Experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or café setting is preferred. Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is essential. Strong upselling skills to maximize sales opportunities. Familiarity with retail math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and payment transactions. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage customers effectively. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
