The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires effective communication with both the kitchen staff and the front-of-house team to facilitate smooth operations and enhance the dining experience. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas for service, including banquet setups when necessary. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure all orders are prepared correctly and promptly. Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas during service. Support kitchen team and perform back of house responsibilities. Collaborate with team members to provide an exceptional dining experience for all guests. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Familiarity with food preparation processes and culinary terminology especially in plant-based cuisine is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both guests and kitchen staff. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for food service and a commitment to providing excellent customer service are essential for success in this role.
