Our dining servers are an important part of resident life, working to create a comfortable, safe and healthy home environment for residents in our assisted living and skilled nursing areas. We have flexible part-time schedule options in a rewarding job where you’re able to make a difference in a resident’s life by serving them three meals a day. You are able to talk with them, laugh with them, and become like family to them. You will become part of an established team that is friendly, devoted, hardworking, and ready to welcome you. We have part-time shifts with hours from 4-7:30 Monday through Friday and weekend hours. Our Healthcare Servers enrich the lives of our residents by: Greeting and seating residents in the dining room Providing excellent service with attention to details for special diets Preparing and assembling meal trays Prep of cold foods/desserts Adherence to all sanitation and food handling requirements Keeping work areas clean Completing all work assignments prior to end of shift Deerfield employees enjoy a full suite of benefits based on hours worked including time away, professional development and scholarship opportunities.
