The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for food service. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet the restaurant’s quality standards before serving. Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain high standards of hygiene at all times. Help with catering events as needed, supporting the culinary team in preparing dishes. Requirements Previous experience in food service or as a Food Runner is preferred but not required. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including knowledge of culinary terms and food safety practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Must be able to lift heavy trays or equipment as needed (up to 40 pounds). A passion for food, catering, and providing excellent customer service is essential. Knowledge of dietary restrictions and preferences is a plus.
