Server/Waiter Aura Lounge and Restaurant Fayetteville, NC 28311 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and hospitality, demonstrating excellent time management skills and a passion for customer satisfaction. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that guests enjoy their meals and have an enjoyable experience. Duties Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all details are captured correctly. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining attention to detail regarding presentation and order accuracy. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals. Handle cash transactions efficiently, providing accurate change and maintaining cash handling procedures. Buss tables promptly after guests leave to maintain cleanliness and readiness for the next guests. Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations throughout the service process. Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism, striving to enhance their dining experience. Assist in food preparation as needed during peak hours to support kitchen operations. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in fine dining settings. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being proactive in addressing guest needs. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to engage effectively with guests and team members.
