Host/Server Cafe Arthur’s 1416 South Hawthorne Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for our guests while managing the front-of-house operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to handle guest relations effectively. You will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and processing transactions accurately. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage waitlists efficiently to optimize seating arrangements. Process customer transactions using the POS system, including cash handling and credit card processing. Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Assist with menu explanations and recommendations to enhance the dining experience. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Familiarity with food service operations and etiquette. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
