• Job Summary:

• We are seeking a friendly and welcoming Host/Host to join our dynamic hospitality team.

As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our customers. Your role will be crucial in setting the tone for our restaurant, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service and hospitality.

• Responsibilities:

• Greet guests upon arrival and provide them with a warm and friendly welcome, ensuring they feel at ease and valued
• Manage the reservation system, ensuring that all tables are properly assigned and that guests are seated in a timely manner
• Take and fulfill orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that guests receive their food and drinks promptly
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or issues that guests may have in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring that the restaurant meets high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure that the restaurant runs smoothly
• Handle phone calls and take reservations with ease and efficiency
• Manage the Aloha POS system to ensure that all orders are processed correctly and that the restaurant is running efficiently
• Provide exceptional guest relations, ensuring that guests leave the restaurant feeling satisfied and valued
• Assist in the management of the restaurant during peak periods, ensuring that all areas of the restaurant are running smoothly

• Experience:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting, preferably in a host/host role
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple tasks at once
• Proficiency in the use of the Aloha POS system
• Strong communication and phone etiquette skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• A commitment to providing exceptional hospitality and a desire to continuously improve the guest experience
