The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, showcasing excellent guest relations skills and a passion for delivering top-notch service. As a Fine Dining Server, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring that guests enjoy their meals to the fullest. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor. Present menus and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage offerings, including daily specials. Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff using the POS system. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Ensure all tables are properly set, sanitized, and maintained throughout service. Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including sanitizing surfaces as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or upscale restaurants is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and menu offerings. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Exceptional guest services skills with a focus on building rapport with patrons. Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within the dining area. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant’s schedule.
