Host/Server Dear Dad’s Restaurant Greensboro, NC 27410 Overview We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for the hospitality industry. As a Host/Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by providing exceptional service and maintaining positive guest relations. Pay is 8.50/hr plus tips! Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm welcome. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing the Aloha POS system. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery. Assist guests with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods. Uphold high standards of food service and hospitality at all times. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a fast-paced setting.
