Server Ava’s Cuisine & Catering 230 West Main Street, Gibsonville, NC 27249 Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartenders and servers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of beverage preparation and service. As a Bartender, you will create memorable experiences for our guests by providing exceptional service, crafting delicious drinks, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash register operations, including processing payments and managing tabs. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service standards. Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods or special events, such as banquets. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple customers during peak hours. Requirements Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the food service or hospitality industry. Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation methods is preferred. Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests. Ability to perform retail math calculations for cash handling purposes. Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively. A commitment to providing high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
