Root & Bone Hendersonville 4165 Brevard Road, Horse Shoe, NC 28742 Overview We are seeking a Dining Room Assistant/Expo to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized, and passionate about providing exceptional service. You will play a crucial role in ensuring each dish is plated and presented correctly before it is sent out to the guest. Responsibilities Work closely with kitchen staff to notify them and keep them up to date on current open menu counts and all incoming orders. Ensure each dish is plated, garnished, and presented correctly before sending it out to the floor. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction. Uphold cleanliness and organization at the expo line to meet NCDHHS standards. Maintain a working knowledge of the menu and ingredients associated with each dish. Dining Room Assistants are occasionally expected to work as food runners and/or bussers when the need arises. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or food service setting. Strong communication skills is a must. Familiarity with Open Table system is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. A passion for helping others and providing outstanding guest services is essential.
