The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for guest services. As a Food Runner, you will work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to create an enjoyable dining experience for all guests. Responsibilities Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Ensure that all food items are presented attractively and meet quality standards before serving. Assist servers in fulfilling guest requests and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests. Support food preparation and handling as needed, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with banquet services during special events or large gatherings as required. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required. Strong guest service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A team player who is willing to help others in the kitchen or dining area as needed. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
